30 sierpnia 2024, piątekDeutsche Harmonia Mundi zaprasza do wysłuchania kolejnego albumu, założonego w 1984 roku zespołu Lautten Compagney. Za album "Timeless ", wydany przez deutsche harmonia mundi w 2010 roku zespół otrzymał prestiżową nagrodę ECHO Klassik w kategorii "Ensemble of the Year".
Tym razem artyści pragną celebrować 40 rocznicę powstania zespołu albumem złożonym z dzieł powstałych na przestrzeni wielu wieków i w wielu krajach. Usłyszymy utwory opracowane na mały zespół z XVI i XVII wieku Giulio Cacciniego, Johna Dowlanda, Johna Playforda, Henry'ego Purcella, Gaspara Sanza, Barbarę Strozzi, a także lutniowe wersje współczesnych utworów: Philippa Glassa "Morning Passages", "Norwegian Wood" The Beatles i "Psyche" Massive Attack oraz słynny klasyk "Hit The Road Jack".
