Jessye Norman - The Unreleased Masters

Jessye Norman była bez wątpienia jedną z największych sopranistek wszechczasów. Jej śmierć we wrześniu 2019 roku ożywiła – po jakimś czasie – dyskusję wokół "niepublikowanych nagrań" tej artystki. Obecnie Deccaz dumą prezentuje kolekcję sześciu niewydanych wcześniej zbiorów nagrań Philips Classics, z dziełami Brittena, Haydna, Berlioza, Straussa i Wagnera. Perfekcjonizm Jessye Norman, poczucie, że muzyka jest często lepsza niż jakikolwiek wykonawca mógłby to oddać, spowodowały, że wstrzymała się z publikacją nagrań, które teraz ujrzały światło dzienne, pieczołowicie odrestaurowane i zremasterowane z użyciem oryginalnych taśm. Wydanie zawiera 68-stronicową książeczkę z nowymi esejami (autorzy: Cyrus Meher-Homji, Costa Pilavachi i George Hall) i wieloma pięknymi fotografiami.
